Shippers Stevedoring Company was established in 1969. It soon became a major force in the industry, quickly establishing a reputation for innovation and leadership.

In 1976, it was Shippers who developed the first roll-on/roll-off terminal on the U.S. Gulf Coast.

By the mid-70’s the company had acquired as multimillion dollar inventory of specialized equipment for handling all types of cargoes.
For over 3 decades the company has continued to invest in new equipment improving its operations and expanding its cargo handling capabilities.
